how to beat Google ?

i request you to please read the whole blog and

  • if you are interested in the concept ?
  • if you know someone who can be interested please forward information to him/her.
  • i am looking for 15 lakhs of rupees to start the venture

Google is recognized as the biggest brand or going to be biggest company in the world.

The business model is simple & revenue model is little hard to understand.

Why Google?

We keep looking for

  • Where is the Best deal available?
  • What is the happening around us?
  • Information we can use.
  • Entertainment or escapism.
    • What Google find
      • Identified information available on internet is large at that point of time.
      • We were facing problems finding the things were looking for
      • So Google came in and helped us in our search!
      • No one imagined how will they make their bread & butter (no one imagined they will be billion $ co.)
      • Google mixed relevant ads with search tool and started getting revenue.
      • By the time everyone realized the potential of search business Google has build enough strength in domain that no one ever came close to challenge them.
      • Everyone in the computer business tried to replicate the model but
      • Google remained the leader by constant innovations, adding new services and maintained leadership.

We can still believe that Google will be No.1 in search, will remain so till it exist.

so What is the problem we have now?

We are still looking for

  • Where is the Best deal available?
  • What is the happening around us?
  • Information we can use.
  • Entertainment or escapism.

All same things we have not changed since hundreds of years.

  • Information available on internet is huge and even search is not the right answer to every query and we have to use manual filter from our brain.

So what can we do? To solve the problem search could not solve

  • Divide the geographical area into small groups (the way nation’s functions we have states-districts-towns-villages etc.)
  • Identify the different groups with similar needs.
    • Educate groups about how to find a right solution
    • How we have done it?
    • Offer our solution
      • Products
      • Services
      • Even content

      This is relevant to the groups we have identified.

      I believe we can beat Google at local level first so,

    • Is interested in hobbies, crafts & looking to pursue his interest.
    • Is interested in custom made services/product
    • Is interested in literature, story telling/personal development workshops.
    • Is interested to support go green initiative and would like to consume products service associated with it.
  • What is their problem that we plan to solve?

We as a customer always need:

  1. To get the quality products/services.
  2. To get the best deal, best value for our money.
  3. Someone to listen to us & offer us custom made solution.
  4. To use eco friendly products but could not find!
  5. To spend time doing things we like & pursue hobbies but could not find where the service related to available?
  6. To know about places we like in near by area but no real information available.
  7. To get solution faster without trial and error.
  8. Not like to waste time in visiting conventional markets and are looking for a better option.


     

  • How big is the overall problem?

If we solve all above problems only for India even then we will be one of the largest companies in the world looking at economical growth in 5 years only.

But the fact is we can not execute idea at this scale at that much pace.

  • How I am planning to solve the problem?

    We will use conventional medium & the most able medium internet to solve the above problems faster and efficiently.

We will use divide & rule principle initially.

  • I am from Ahmedabad and know needs of the people here very well and familiar with the problems we face with current market system.
  • Will start with Ahmedabad only, Instead of common approach in ecommerce portal to offer services to whole geography which they think of and then fail to deliver the experience they promised/visualized.
  • Dividing the customer into small groups and identify there needs and after detailed research find the best solution and offer it to them by educating about it.
  • Take for example I have identified the group" Amateur photographers"
  • Identified there needs and found that perfect solution for their requirement is not available in so called big brands shops /specialized goods stores etc, of-course solution is available but the research it takes is cumbersome and time consuming too.
  • Our job is to do all the cumbersome processes by over selves and offer a perfect solution for all their needs at single place for customer & save their labor and time.
